Hi Everyone
We are looking to visit Nevada in November for an airshow at Las Vegas and a visit to an air base near Pheonix. We are flexible to which town we arrive at (could even consider S.California).
More importantly we are flexible which airport we can fly from in the UK (we are in the Midlands).
Most websites ask for a departure point which means hours of searching as we don't really mind where we fly from (Never will I ever fly from Stansted again though!).
Does anyone know of a site which allows "fuzzy" searches?
Thanks
Mark F

Try Skyscanner which allows you select "Any Airport (UK)" as an option
Also look at the FlightChecker where you could check the box "All Departures" - it now includes some US destinations.0 -
Hi Mark...
I gave a quick search for the middle of nov. (8-15 nov. from Heathrow) on travelsupermarket website and I got under £300 (inc. ALL taxes) per person to Las Vegas with Air Canada
You can tinker around with it a bit as it gives you up 3 choices from the airport you want/can leave from.
Here's the link: http://www.travelsupermarket.com/travelmerge/travelsearch.aspx?package=4
Hope it helps*If you like the advice I give...let me know by clicking the THANKS button*

If you have that many choices of departure and arrival points I'd contact people like Trailfinders and let them do the hard work.
I did this kind of trip a couple of years back.
Went to Pima Air and Space museum and the Titan Missle base near to Tucson.
Flew with BA direct to Phoenix (bad choice of airline) but it was direct from LHR.
I live in the East Midlands so have a varied choice of airports.
Usually go with somewhere I can
1 Park cheaply (tends to be LHR with Purple parking .(TIPO code)
2 Miss all the traffic into\out of airport (Stanstead...)
3 Small so not crowded (East Midlands-AKA Nottingham Airport)
4 Cheap flights (LHR??)
Arrival for this trip.
You should be able to arriive at PHX and leave via LAS (or vice versa) for no extra cost.
It's about 4 (boring) hours drive from LAS to PHX apart from the windfarm at Palm Springs
Is the Air show from Nellis?0 -

Hi Nordict
Sorry but the website link you gave has not worked for me all night. I have re-booted and put the main website address in and it is now working.
Really appreciate your help earlier.
Thanks

Try https://www.kayak.co.uk as it has "nearby airports" tick boxes for departure & arrival airports0

Is the Air show from Nellis?
Hi - thanks for the detailed response.
Yes the airshow is at Nellis on 10/11 November. It seems such a waste to travel all that way and not cram in as much as possible!
We want to visit the desert boneyard at Davis Monthan, and to please my travelling companion we need to find a decent roller coaster somewhere!
The airfare seems to hover around the £300 mark so it may be the time to go as the pound is strong against the dollar.
The sad thing is that I live about 8 minutes drive from Birmingham Airport and never seem to be able to get the flight I want!
Regards

The Boneyard is next to Pima.
It's absolutely HUGE.
However, I did not go in, just drove around it.
Pima is good, Titan was scary...
I spent two weeks at Nellis in my other life....0
