I've currently got a 56 reg Honda Jazz...it's done over 140,000 miles now and I'm wondering I find it's time for a change.

I want something slightly bigger with more boot space...considering something like a Vauxhall Zafira. I've also wondered about a Kia of some kind. I want something that's economical and low to tax. Any recommendations? Looking to spend around 9k.

1972 V8 Range Rover. Free Tax, its fairly economical, 18mpg on a good day.
Run it on gas = equivalent of 30+mpg.

But its free tax and under £150 a year insurance with zero no claims required.

    LOL

Coming from a Jazz and going to a '72 Rangie, I think it's fair to say the reliability will take a nosedive...

Get a Ce'ed estate petrol or something, Focus, whatever. :D
