When will the SRA do something about the Gladstones Boys

Horizon Parking - you've been Gladstoned
Shysters Will Hurley and John Davies have conned yet another parking company by pretending to provide legal services while instead carrying on with their usual shoddy procedures.

Their particulars of claim were found to contain no particulars, resulting in the claim being struck out before a hearing.

I am confident that they are doing something. My complaint last month has elicited four replies already, but they are solicitors, ultimate belt and braces wearers.

They are not averse to throwing out their rotten apples, thete are 175 pages of the naughty boys here.

The irony is that the people they are fleecing the most ie the parking companies are the ones who are unlikely to complain.

In many respects this puts the SRA in a difficult position in that the solicitors customers are, on the surface, happy. The SRA will see that the people complaining are people they are taking legal action against and so to a degree have an axe to grind.

Yes there is a clear conflict of interest here. How can the parking companies complain if the solicitors firm is run by the same people that run their parking trade association.

You are right of course but it does not follow that they need complaints from the actual client.

It can be clearly seen that Gladstones and the rest are not complying with the principals of the SRA and therefore there is a "knock on" to the motorists, the public. The SRA boast about the interests to the public so let them apply these principals to rogue solicitors who think they are above the SRA principals. and especially those who harass people and they themselves cannot put two words together to even form a decent defence.
It seems the SRA are in denial that Gladstones are the IPC/IAS,and the biggest sham in the UK today
  • Thanks for the "naughty boys" link. Has anyone honed these down to select the Gladstones cases? I am just about ready to send my SRA complaint. Any recent cases might be useful to cite.

KOI, most of these cases will be for financial impropriety. I doubt if you would find anything that would help you in a parking case.
