In theory any card: Add your card to your PayPal account, withdraw funds to a bank account, choose the card et voila topped up. In practice not all prepaid cards work with PayPal.
  • Thanks, but i'm trying to avoid the bank account step...

You can use the Pockit card, with PayPal, you can top up via PayPal, direct payment via your bank.

You can withdraw like you would any card but some withdrawals will cost (starts from 99p)

Can use paypoint to withdraw, and online, and via a cashpoint.

Have a read on this here

I have a referral code if you wish to go ahead, both get a payment of £5.

I agree with Westie983. You can use your Pockit card to make purchases using PayPal. Also, there is additional pre-authorisation information you must remember when you register your card. This information is available directly on here under 'How to withdraw cash and make purchases' heading.
  • Thanks both, but maybe I should try to clear things up. I have PayPal credit of which i want to get a PrePaid card, i don't want to involve my bank or normal debit / credit card. Hope that makes sense?

You want to use the PayPal credit to put onto the prepaid card do you mean?

This is fine with pockit, you just add your PayPal account as one of your account and then ask pockit to transfer the funds, I put my PayPal account in credit then I fund my account with PayPal.

Isnt this what you want to do?

If you have credit on PayPal couldnt you just use it to purchase something, maybe a gift card, then your credit will be gone...

That's interesting. Pockit doesn't list Paypal as a funding option: https://www.pockit.com/faqs/
Is there any charge for this?

add your Pockit card to PayPal, and then just ask PayPal to take money 1p, then you just send the money back to Pockit card with the extra money that is in your PayPal account.

This bit is relatively easy: as you cannot top up Paypal by a credit card, I guess you mean to pay a friend or purchase for 1p?

This is the tricky bit: Paypal can only withdraw to a confirmed bank account (sort code + account no). How do you trick it to send the money to a credit card, like Pocket?
