My tv only has 1 HDMI port

My tv is mounted on the wall, it has the hdmi & power cable buried in the wall & plastered & painted over.
The one hdmi port is connected to the sky box.
The tv is not smart.

I would like to get Netflix's. netflix has Reign & The Crown is coming next month, plus the films are much cheaper than sky cinema.

I still want to keep sky.

I'm guessing I could buy a little Apple TV box to get Netflix?

How do I connect to the tv?

Can I get anything that I could plug into the non tv end of the hdmi cable that would allow me to connect multiple boxes (or just both). I don't really want to have to keep taking cables in & out, I have them in a unit & it's not easy work on them, I wouldn't want to have to do it to change the channel!

I don't want to change the tv, it's a pioneer plasma, it's a lovely tv & picture.

yes thats correct,and it will auto switch from one to the other when you turn them on.

Right away I can plug sky box, DVD player & Apple TV into it - might I need the other 2?

Is there any different apart from number of ports?

You would also need one of these couplers to join the cable from the wall with a male hdmi plug on it to the splitter which also has a male plug:-

Make sure you get one with an external power adapter, such as

The power from source through HDMI cable may not be sufficient to drive the switch, as it is not intended to.
You do not need a coupler for switches like this.

You only have the 3 devices with a HDMI cable so 1 with 3 ports unless your likely to buy something else that has a HDMI port in the future then buy 1 with 5 ports.

I dont think you need the joiner as the one i posted the cable is detachable,so your cable from the tv should just slot in.
