Ticketmaster

Any advice please.... I contacted Ticketmaster to see if I could receive a refund for tickets I had bought to an Andrea Bocelli concert. Sadly my mother-in law was in hospital and was I was not expecting her to come home. . A few days after the event I received an email stating.

" We sell the tickets on behalf of the venue and promoter, so all funds are paid over to our clients after the event and are no longer under our control.

With that in mind, after speaking to the promoters, they have informed us we won't be able to process a refund for your booking."

I explained that I had contacted them before the event but they will not budge. Any advice please
