Interest not paid by Santander

I thought of opening a Santander 123 account a couple of years ago but didn’t get around to it and so I’ve missed out on two years of interest because Santander didn’t remind me that I’d forgotten to open an account. I accept some of this is my fault but Santander should have reminded me to open the account. Do you think I have any chance of recompense? Two years of lost interest should do it.0

I agree with the supposition that the OP may be having a joke at our expense.0
