Car Smell

I know, I know, not a nice title and probably wrong place to post - but am desperate.
A while a go I was sent to collect a order from Costa that included a hazlenut late with whipped cream. The top was not placed on the coffee correctly and now the car stinks.
I have tried vanish and yesterday carpet cleaner but the car still smells of off milk. Not good.
Any ideas on what I can do to shift the smell??

I'd maybe try some dettol spray (test in a small area first). That should get rid of the smell. Another option is a carpet shampooer if you have access to one?0

I hear baking soda is good to eliminating smells. Never tried it though.
Sounds like you need a stronger chemical to break it down, or you have missed a spot or two!! May take a few applications to remove the smell compltely. Febreeze is maybe your friend also.0 -
Steam clean it.0

A bundle of old newspapers carried around on the back seat for a few days absorbed the smell when young son was sick in there. Worth a try and very MSE!The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.

You need to find every spot where it landed and use the tricks above. We still talk about Mrs hc's Focus that had a full pot of cream spilled on the back seat - seats out and pressure-washed, carpet out and washed and it still smelled for 2 years!0
