Please help - Barcley Card

I don't know whether to cry or scream.
We have just seen a house we would like to buy (first-time buyer with family) and checked my partners credit record to find a long term issue, I just don't know how to resolve.

She had a DRO (debt relief order almost six years ago).
Since then an excellent credit record.

At the time barcley card should have written her debt of as agreed in court.

But over the last 6 years they have been recording late payments and defaults.

My partner has talked with them and Experian. I think action was planned at some point but I guess my partner didn't follow it though.

 It's still there!!! They are still regularly filing incorrect information that is effecting our lives.

How do we resolve this?
I am so gutted :(
(6 years!!)

When did they default the account? If at the same time as the DRO, it will make no practical difference.
  • Thank you for your swift reply.
The account on Experian was Last updated : 28/01/2014
It shows a Default Date 18/05/2011
However still showing defaults in 'payment status' bar every month now.

That's OK. It will drop off 6 years after the default. The monthly defaults are just status updates.
  • So they will all disappear?

This default will automatically drop off the credit report 6years after the first default date. (18/5/2011)....So 18th May 2017, the default will drop off and disappear. It will be worth just checking the credit report for each credit agency the following month just to make sure but no reason why it should just disappear on that date.....
