Smart Parking LTD requesting settlement by solicitors

I got a parking ticket at the University I attend ( in Edinburgh, Scotland) and I've always been told to ignore private parking tickets (Smart Parking LTD). I've ignored it until now, I have a letter from Gladstones Solicitors requesting payment through debt recovery plus.co.uk within 14 days of £160. This is worrying…

As it's asking for a payment to DRPlus it's only a debt collector letter. Whilst I would normally suggest responding to any solicitor's letter, the event was in Scotland, where you live, and the letter mentions English courts so is merely a template threatogram.

I would ignore this but file an online complaint to the SRA, stating which parts of the SRA Code* have been breached by this misleading drivel.

* Google it!
