Just in case anyone is interested or if anyone else comes to the forum looking to buy a new Mini my friend has now purchased her new Mini and is just waiting for it to be built now. She went for a lot of bells and whistles but managed to save a smidgeon over £5k on the final price. Furthermore we managed to get the best deal from a dealership within a reasonable radius of home. The shiply.com suggestion was useful and I'll keep that in mind when purchasing Mr Pixie's new car next year.
