HL introduce ETF regular savings

Just received an email that HL have introduced regular savings into ETFs! Something I have been hoping for a while.

Previously they only allowed regular savings into funds and FTSE 350 stocks and selected investment trusts. Dealing commission is the same fixed rate of £1.50 per trade.

Just a shame that they have only included a select 10 ETFs:

Vanguard FTSE Developed Europe ex-UK
iShares Core MSCI Emerging Markets IMI UCITS ETF
iShares Core UK Gilts UCITS ETF
iShares Core MSCI World UCITS ETF
iShares FTSE 100 UCITS ETF
iShares FTSE 250 UCITS ETF
iShares FTSE MIB UCITS ETF
iShares MSCI Japan UCITS ETF
iShares UK Dividend UCITS ETF
iShares S&P 500 UCITS ETF

I was really hoping they would include the Vanguard S&P 500 UCITS ETF GBP, that has an TER of 0.04% vs the iShares version which as a TER of 0.40%!!

Anyone else going to take up their new service? Or thoughts?

Interesting, seems no MSE HL clients are bothered about the new service...

Most of my equity investments are in HL ETF's I am not reallly attracted to regular (monthly) investing though, I would rather be a bit more proactive deciding when I invest (just gives me a bit of fun really).

Shame they have not included more Vanguard ETF's I might have been interested then. I wonder why only just one Vanguard ETF?
