Check to see if you can buy replacement glass, if you can't it may be clipped onto the door and then glued, so not replaceable.
  • Hi. If yours is a WF70 or similar...
You can clean the dirt trap around the door easily (stay with me on this!) without removing the glass. You will need a dishwashing brush or similar long bristled brush.
1 remove the two screws holding the door to the machine, then lift hinge vertically to unslot the hinge. It will pull away. Also remove the one screw holding the clear plastic cover next to the hinge and remove it too.
2 take the door to the sink and hold it vertically. Squirt some kitchen cleaner spray into the crease where the dirt is trapped.
3 ease the bristles into the crease and work back and forth, you will see the bristles deep in the crack from the front of the door.
4 work the dirt around till it is loose and moving.
5 use a jug to pour water into the crack and flush out the dirt. Keep turning the door like a wheel till you get all the dirt out. Leave to drain and refit. Hope that helps. It is a bit of a faff but you only need to do it once in a while. It's bad design, but still a fabulous washing machine!

Or you could leave it as is and carry on washing your clothes :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

As this thread is two years old I suspect that is what happened!
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.
  • My washing machine is three years old, and has annoyed me for ages because of that trapped dirt in the door. Looked awful. I eventually found a way to clean it, now it looks like new. So now I don't need to spend money on a service engineer or a new one.
    What's this forum called again???

Do you stop cleaning things once they are old?
  • Hi firefox1956

I have an Ecobubble only a few months old and it has happened to mine already. Some spillage has got between the Door and outer clear Plastic cover. Can you tell me how you cleaned yours.

    Many Thanks :))
  • I had debris and dirt in between the glass and door so I tried to remove the glass from the door which I found impossible without breaking the thing. I called Samsung but they only want an engineer to visit so wouldn't tell me how to do it.
Plus my machine was outside warranty so top tip, if it is within warranty call Samsung first as you may be covered for this.
I purchased a grout cleaning brush from B&Q and used hot soapy water.
I had to unscrew the door from the machine so I could easily turn it as I worked it. The end of the brush was angled so I was able to slide a few of the bristles between the frame and the glass and when I pushed the brush up and out the debris and dirt stayed attached to the bristles.
