solar panels and direct debits with an old style meter.
Hello
I have solar panels and an old style meter that runs backwards when my panels are working.
I have been unable to give meter readings so my electricity supplier(s) (I changed to co op a while ago and was with edf.)
have me on a direct debit.
My question is am I losing out when I change suppliers?
I cannot give accurate readings because of my solar panels affecting the meter so how do I know I have not been ripped off in the past and if I change and have overpaid?
Hears hoping someone can figure this out.
Many Thanks.

You should ask your current supplier to change your meter. I would be more concerned with you defrauding the energy suppliers. How can you have been ripped off if the meter is going backwards?Self Employed, Running my Dream Jobs0
