Claim against a university

I'm wanting to put a claim in against a uni and wonder if anyone can recommend a solicitor who do no win no fee please. Problems from day 1. Teachers not turning up. Poor quality teaching. Very long story. Basically if I said I was buying a Porsche car I ended up with a push bike for the same price of car. Formal complaint done but don't seem interested.
Things will get better day by day.

don't you need to wait to see the outcome of the formal complaint?
Did you follow the complaints procedure exactly?
Are they a ' proper' university?

Is this the same one you posted about on this thread?

You're unlikely to get a no win no fee solicitor as costs can no longer be claimed from the other side - they would need to be paid from any damages you were awarded and are capped at 25% of the damages (which means if you were claiming - for example - £3000, the most a solicitor could recoup would be £750 (and solicitors cost a lot more than that even for simple cases).
However if the amount you're claiming is under the small claims limit (£10,000 currently I think) then you should be able to do it yourself as small claims are generally less formal and more forgiving.
First though, you should write a letter before action to the supplier informing them how they have breached the contract and how much you are claiming for. If you need help with what a letter before action looks like, google it (title it letter before action, keep it as straightforward as possible and give them a deadline to respond while making it clear what will happen if they dont - ie you'll issue legal proceedings against them at which point their liability for costs may increase).
You need to be able to prove your losses though. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
