I know posties that have been ordered by Managers to go out with two bags at once, when there is a shortage of staff.

Health & safety is a myth, if a job has to be done and you are under pressure to get it done then all concerns over H&S are ignored, this is how real life works these days, and I do not agree with it.

Health and safety requirements might not be followed in some places but it is strictly followed in others.
I work in civil aviation, an industry that is probably now one of the most heavily legislated and regulated in the country and any breach of H&S can result in penalties against the company, the employee or both.
I've seen company H&S employees calling an immediate stop to work on more than one occasion and I've also witnessed a few people being instructed to leave the premises due to their unsafe work practices.
