Car insurance going from provisional to full licence

Thanks Quentin, Do NCD start from when a policy is taken up, even though its on a provisional licence, or is it from when she passed her test and acquired her full licence?

(PS it is my girlfriend, not my daughter )

Yes it would run from the inception date. ( The change of licence won't affect the ncd)

I did a bit of research when getting quotes for our daughter.

Some were fairly cheap for her on provisional but when looking into it further I discovered it would go up when she passed but they could not quote how much it would be!

We ended up going with Direct Line who said the premium will remain the same for the whole of the year even if and when she passes her test.
