Winter or All-Season tyres?

Regarding location, I'm in a fairly rural town outside of Glasgow and only likely to need to make the occasional trip to rescue the wife when trains get cancelled.
I think All-Seasons are the way to go, I was just worried they'd be too much of a compromise.I sell my Winter tyres at 4mm as part-worns, so get some money back that way too, towards the next set.
How do you sell them? Just gumtree?
I've got a set of barely used winters in the garage from the last car (Annoyingly the same wheel size/width but a different profile)0 -

I pored over all the reviews when I bought mine five years ago and I went for Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons. I bought online in the end (through https://www.mytyres.co.uk) and they were delivered and fitted locally. Price wasn't bad either.
I'd never thought of buying car tyres online before but it worked out pretty well.0 -
Slicks. If they're good enough for Hamilton.....0

Not sure they are at the moment. There's a rumour he's trying All-Season tyres in Austin. They'd probably get him off the grid faster, anyway.Joe_Horner wrote: »Slicks. If they're good enough for Hamilton.....0
