The ones I bought in Lloyds ALSO have the calorie count of numerous foods programmed in. With the tare used you can also calculate exactly the amount of calories in your freashly prepared meal.
It might be of use to someone that 'really' wants to know exactly the calories they are taking in but I don't bother with this option.
They also can switch between metric & imperial.0
