Flea Bites on Humans

Looking for some advice, my nans cat had fleas recently and I'm pretty sure I've been bitten a few times. I've got a line/ group of red spots appeared in my lower/ abs pelvic region, I'd describe them as blotchy, I've also got another group on my outer upper thigh and one on my lower back (I tend to lie on the floor from time to time at my nans!)

Has anybody any advice on how long the bites take to heal? Any tips on speeding them on? They're not painful but I'd say sore as when I wear a belt on my pants it pushes on both areas!

Thanks

Put a teaspoonful of Bicarbonate of Soda (from the Baking section in the Supermarket) into an eggcup and add some water to make a thin paste. Wipe it on to the bites with cotton wool and let it dry. You may have to do it a couple of times. It works and it's a lot cheaper than the sprays.
Can be used for many insect bites, but it's ''winegar for wasps''
  • I always get bitten by anything going. My main relief is some sudocrem - takes the heat and itch out, plus smells gorgeous too as a bonus.

Healing time depends on the person. Some people don't notice them after a day and everything fades quickly. I got a face full of midge bites in the summer and was still suffering over a week later.
In a better financial position than ever before (thank you MSE!). Moved back to Scotland and now trying to keep debt-free!

I received a flea bite from a dog I was looking after about 4 years ago. It formed a permanent (albeit) small spot on my forearm.
