Wanted Edinburgh Hotel with pool

Hi Hubby and I are looking for a long weekend in Edinburgh at the end of October. Just wondering if anyone can recommend a nice hotel with a leisure centre and the best site to book it through. The cheapest I can find is a "Secret Hotel" for £200 room only on last minute. Many thanks for any recommedations.

2 main city centre ones have pools and health clubs - Sheraton and Caledonian.

Holiday Inn at the zoo (2 miles from city centre) has one.

Edinburgh Council have a good range of swimming pools - including the soon to be closed Commonwealth Pool and my favourite the one on Glenogle Road which is a wonderful Victorian pool

Have you tried the holiday inn ?

It has a gym and indoor HEATED pool too

If not..they look at the rest of the hotels on the site http://www.asiarooms.com/united_kingdom/edinburgh.html?sort=rates&extraSortRate=60-120
It's worth checking out because the rates are cheaper here than going thru the hotels website
