Saving interest rates throughout Europe?

Out of interest does anyone know what interest rates on savings let's say 1 year bonds are in other countries within Europe? Are they all similar to us?

I am not interested in moving my money but just curious if they are lucky to get 1.5 %.I am not talking about current accounts or regular savings.

European rates are lower so you're probably better off here for higher interest

Research carried out in May this year found they have it far worse than we do in the main. Specifically, in Germany (and The Netherlands and Denmark too) the average 1 year rate offered by the biggest 3 banks was 0.1%.

At that time, and of the 15 countries checked, the UK offered the joint 4th highest rate on one year bonds.

Don't be coy. I thought about converting some sterling to EURO, and sending it to Germany, too, and then they tell me they can only get 0.1% with Deutsche Bank.

0.1% I could stomach, but Deutsche Bank?

Not being "coy" and would not waste time and money in doing such a thing with charges and other barriers making it a worthless excercise, even if the rates were a couple of percent higher which they are not.
