Hi,
Welcome to my thread. This is my first time doing a Savings Diary.
I paid off all my debt last Friday! ππππ
So now at the age of 24, I want to start saving money and buy myself a Flat/Apartment next year. I'm currently single (casually looking for Boyfriend).
My job is a secret. π
I'm not the best at saving because I love shoes, clothes, handbags and all things expensive, so I'm writing this diary so I can keep track off my spending and resist all temptations.
Currently I have Β£40.00 π, and my goal is to reach Β£5,000.00 by Xmas.
I plan to take it step by step.
So I just to need to save another Β£4,960.00. I'm feeling very optimistic about this new journey in my life.
Thanks for reading.
xx

Today has been a busy day, with repairs happening at the house!
Monday's are always so busy!
No spend today, ate food from home, it helps to do a big food shop and meal plan every day, it crazy to think I used to go out to restaurants 4 times a week, and now I'm lucky if I go 2 times a month.
I also added Β£5 to my savings so currently have Β£45.00 with Β£4.955.00 remaining Determined to live the best life! π π π π π π

Hello well done on cutting back on restaurant meals and saving money. I had to thank your post the other day and run but I meant to say welcome to the thread.:j:T:DAiming for a minimal spend 20220

Yeah I saw that!
Thank you for the welcome.
It was hard to cut back on restaurants as it's easier to have someone else cook for me , especially in this cold weather, I get lazy having to stand behind the stove.Determined to live the best life! π π π π π π

So I've booked a Market Research this Sunday for half an hour paying £50.00
I plan to head to the bank on Monday to add Β£20.00 to my savings, put Β£10 on my Oyster Card and the remaining Β£20 I'm going to put towards a new phone.
I don't have a smartphone which is quite embarrassing because of my age. I found a nice smartphone online at Tesco for Β£34.00 so I'm not far off.Determined to live the best life! π π π π π π

Well done on your market research. I only have a smart phone as Mrs 3dogs' husband gave me his when he passed away. Then steve gave me a posh one when he upgraded. You are not alone. I can't believe how expensive they are!!!! I only use what's app and try not to text from it. When I do I use Tesco Top ups.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Slow day today, spent Β£4 on KFC for dinner. It's hard not to buy the odd fast food during the week with this crap weather, it rained almost all day today.
Only managed to put Β£2.10 in my savings so new total is Β£47.10 so that leaves Β£4952.90 left.Determined to live the best life! π π π π π π

So I bought a new SmartPhone yay!
It arrives tomorrow and then I have a shoot on Thursday.
I'm self-employed so I'm trying to save money all the time, which makes me think I should have more money then I should but then things always come up.
Halloween is round the corner, and two birthdays coming up soon!
I also took out some money from my savings so I'm back to Β£40.00.Determined to live the best life! π π π π π π
