Rail Fares - Cheap day returns from Dundee to Glasgow. Was trying to book rail travel to the cup final on 28th May and checked online for a day return which came up as £31.50. A check on the enquiry line produced the same price. But if you check online for a cheap day return from Dundee to Perth it is £5.30 and then for a cheap day return from Perth to Glasgow it is £9.90. Therefore the total cost for a cheap day return doing it this way is £15.20. Half the cost. On top of that it is the same train so all you do is stay on the train all the way to Glasgow with the seperate tickets. Don't know if this is the same elsewhere but worth checking.
