Hi All,
My daughter recently started university in Aberdeen and doesn't take her car with her.
She would like to use it at weekends though, is there an insurance company that would insure her for weekends only?
Or any other options. The only thing we could find was a 10 month policy but there wasn't much of a saving.

You could consider temporary insurance.
But bear in mind that she would have to SORN it every Monday till Friday!0 -
As above, unless the car is declared SORN every week when it's not in use; there is a legal obligation to continue the insurance.0

She may be able to lower her insurance by choosing a v.low mileage limit if its only going to be used weekends/holidays0
