Hi
Was wondering if anyone cud advise re selling share of a property.
My 3 brothers and I have equal share of a property, no mortgage. We all agreed to sell the property and completed the initial paperwork. 1 brother now says he will not sign contract to sell the property.
Where do the other3 stand? Can we sell our shares to an investor??
The brother who refuses to sell cannot afford to buy us out.
Any advice greatly appreciated
Thanks

It's unlikely anyone would buy a share if a property. Usually you start a paper trail of reasonable requests to the other owner. If thry continue to refuses you let them know you'll be forced to go to court to force a sale and they could end up paying all the legal fees. If they still refuse you then get a solicitor and do just that.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0
