And I think you only need 2 mirrors. So if rearview and passenger are OK it shouldn't be a fail.
For cars built before (iirc) 1983 you only need one mirror (interior or external on wing / door), for cars later than that you need two mirrors BUT one of those MUST be driver's side external.
The condition of any extras fitted above that minimum doesn't matter as long as they don't create a danger in some other way.0 -
I know when the mirror glass fell out of the Octavia (seemed to be a bit of a weak point - the passenger side one was only just hanging in there too - seems the adhesive they use weakens after about a decade) I just did a quick ebay search and got about half a dozen results for a replacement bit of glass. Araldited them onto the existing backing.0
