SIP Pay By Phone parking ticket

I have received a notice to keeper from SIP from when I parked in Manchester.
I arrived at the car park on Saturday afternoon, rang the number, got an automated voice where I used my keypad to put in my location and bank details and then with difficulty told the international call worker my registration, she mixed up the F's in my reg as S's, i corrected her. Then went back to an automated voice confirming i could park until the next afternoon, but not repeating back my reg, i got no text confirming any information so had no way of checking if the call worker understood me.
The next morning i had a parking ticket saying i had no ticket displayed.
The money had been taken out of my account so i sent information to SIP stating when i called and the number i rang off and a statement showing i had paid. I did not include my address and only put my first name.
It has been a month after i receive the parking ticket on my car, and i have received a notice to keeper, SIP have got my address from DVLA.
Since this i have parked on another SIP carpark that required me to download an app but i used the account set up here, and the reg was incorrect, the call worker had changed one S to an F but had kept another S when it was really and F.
So the reason i have the ticket is the worker put my reg in wrong can i appeal this? as i had no written confirmation. If so what do i do?
