What temperature do you set your combi to? Do you have it coming on off all day about 20C for example.
or heat on for 2 hours a day or so. Whats the most economical way?
That is a question that cannot be answered!
If you want the temperature in your property to remain at 20C, you have to have the room thermostat set to 20C and leave the boiler on for the whole time you want the property to remain at 20C - that is the whole purpose of a thermostat.0 -
Surely you wouldn't want the house to be at 20 overnight ?
When we need regular heat, the thermostat is set to the required temperatures during 5 (?) adjustable time zones throughout the day, with a different choice for weekend days.
Our heating output from the boiler is left fixed, but my husband sometimes raises the temperature of hot water, if hotter water is required (eg water for greasy dishes needs to be hotter than for hand or body washing)0
