NTK - an easy way out?

Am I being naive in thinking that you can just appeal saying that you didn't receive the NTK in the 15 days? Is that, on its own, not enough to get the parking charge notice cancelled? Would they have to prove that it was received in time or would it be up to the recipient to prove that it wasn't?

Thanks

There is no easy way out. You should read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES and then appeal using the relevant template you will find there depending on which company you are talking about, and to which trade association they belong.
You haven't given enough information for a specific answer, but all the information you need on how to appeal a parking invoice can be found in the NEWBIES.

    Hi Fruitcake

Thanks for your reply. I was actually looking at the appeals template from point 3, step 1 of the following http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/private-parking-tickets?_ga=1.181056992.63717172.1457713808#route1
    and in there it says
    • [If appealing against a notice to keeper] The notice to keeper is incorrect
The Notice to Keeper failed to meet the obligations of Schedule 4 of the POFA Act 2012. [eg if the Notice to Keeper arrived late (after 15 days following the alleged parking office, or after 56 days following the issue of a parking charge notice on your windscreen].

There is an easy way out then!

Search the forum for Morrisons and send an email to the 'donotreply' email addy. Read the threads about it, M's cancel EVERY TIME!

DO NOT read the out of date article on the MSE site, it is hopeless as it gives away the driver. And no, a private postal 'ANPR' camera PCN is not void is not delivered within 14 days. The MSE article is far too simplistic.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Do not use any information from the "official" MSE threads about private parking. As C-M has said, they are rubbish and throws one of the most valuable appeal points down the drain if you use it.

Do as C-M has advised and complain to the CEO of Morrison's.

This advice is specific to M's who appear to cancel when contacted. Many other retailers do not do this so you then have to go through the appeals process from the NEWBIES thread. You should familiarise yourself with the NEWBIES anyway as every motorist, their friends, and family should know about this unregulated industry.

Note, if for any reason Mr M has not cancelled the ticket by the appeal deadline, then send the appropriate appeal template from the NEWBIES thread.
