Engineered wood flooring

I'm currently awaiting a quote for engineered wood flooring. The brand I've been offered is called Elegance quality hardwood flooring, and I understand the top layer is 3.2mm.
Does anyone have any experience of this, or is there a brand you would recommend? I will be having it through most of the downstairs so don't want to have to replace it any time soon.

The only one I have experience of is Kahrs Oak flooring and it has been really good. It should say how many times it can be sanded as an idea to how hard wearing? We have had two houses ground floor finished with Kahrs and they look great and better as they get older too. Just be care not to drop heavy objects on them!0

We had a top layer of 6mm as we wanted the peace of mind that we could fix it if we dropped anything on it. The floor is much softer than I'd imagined, so it's worth getting a decent brand and thickness.0

The quote has now come back, and it states Xylo R13 engineered oak flooring. I'm not sure why he showed me Elegance, of if this is the same thing.
Does anyone have experience of Xylo R13, and if so what is your experience with this?0
