This is a silly question but I just want to confirm that if I make a large purchase say 1200£ using a 0% for 26 months credit card, then I don't have to pay off this purchase until before the 26th month? i do not have to make any minimum monthly payment right?

You have to pay the minimum payment every month. This is not a 'buy now, pay later' scheme.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

No, thats not how it works. A 26 months 0% purchase card only means you pay no interest for 26 monts, but you have to make at least minimum payments every month, from month 1. If you miss a single payment, you lose the promotional deal.0
