Under tile bath trim

HI when using this trim do I still put water in the bath and then put the Under tile bath trim on along with tiling i am doing?

    It is easier to lower the bath by about one turn of the adjustment on each leg, then when tiling is done raise the leg by one turn, this ensures a good seal with the trim along the bath. A smear of washing up liquid along the bath also helps.

    I cant reach all the legs :(

    After I have silicone the trim in place and tiled the wall
    do I keep the water in the bath or empty it before the silicone goes off?

    Fix a bit for 2x1 around the bath permiter . If it can't move it can't split
