Incorrect sizing and tags

I bought two pairs of pjs borne size 20-22. I went to put a pair on and first noticed the tag was still on the packet as they are packed in a plastic bag type thing. I never noticed this when I bought it nor the the barrier went off
Or someone come after me.
Anyways I went to put them on and noticed the top being quite small. I checked the size and it was 8-10 I checked the bottoms and they were 16-18. The packet looked untouched as in no one had taken them out and it looked factory packaged.
The second pair are the correct size but the tag is attached to the torusers
I didn't see any other clothing having tags on and also I went through self service and happily put items in bag and cashier didn't stop to take tags off
What are my rights regarding the incorrreft sizing. I think I can take the items back to remove the tags anyways.

If the security tags are still attached I would expect that you would need proof that you purchased them, unless you mean just price tags in which case just take them back to the store - preferably with the receipt but depending on the store you'll probably get a refund/exchange.0
