Benidorm in November

Hi

We did not get a summer holiday this year so we are looking for a cheap break away for a few days. There are some good offers to Benidorm in November. We have never been away at that time of the year and we were wondering what the weather is like in Benidorm in November. Is it shorts and tee shirts during the day with something warmer in the evening? Is it swimming weather?

We are also concerned that the place may die in November with few holiday makers about and lots of the bars may close down early or not be opened at all. Is this the case?

Any help much appreciated
Val :)

If you can get to Tenerife for not much more, you may get slightly better weather if the sun is out.

I was in the Costa Del Sol last November. 31 degrees Celsius in direct sunlight. Head south or try Tenerife as richardw suggests.
Can't imagine Benidorm will be warm enough.

Been to Benidorm late October for the last 10 years or so and have been there when we never saw the sun for 5 days but also been when its been 28c and sunny all day ..Its very unpredictable that time of year
Suggest you look at the forecast a few days before you go so you know what to pack
(Off again in 2 weeks time )

Don`t worry about bars being closed ..They will all still be open and probably packed as ever.
being as November is fiesta time

If your budget would cover the Canaries, in particular Tenerife where you might get the best chance of good deals, I would definitely look there. November is high season in the Canaries for a good reason. The weather is usually much better than the Mediterranean. You could be lucky in Benidorm, but you're taking a chance.

I'm just discovering that myself. I was looking at booking a week in Tenerife or Lanzarote in November thinking it would be a cheap time to go... but it is anything but that.

Tenerife is great - however Mount Teide is currently under observation because of concerns it may be leading up to an eruption. Several minor earthquakes reported last weekend. I would check that position before booking and in particular if you decide to go with it, check travel insurance will cover you in the event that your Ho,I day is disrupted.
