G24 Parking fine letter 2 £90 fine

Hi there,
My other half got a fine for parking in B&M which she wrote a letter back to B&M and was told that they had no sway in controlling the fine and she had to contact G24.
She left her car in there for 131 minutes when the max was 120, and therefore was asked to pay a £90 fine which i believe has now gone up to £120, ive had this in the passed and i just left the letters and heard nothing after a short while but this was around 2012.
She has written a letter basically saying she was in B&M for this time and basically asking for the fine to be revered but they have declined this and told her to pay up..
Basically im worried that she will end up with a CCJ against her name if she ignores the letters any further. I understand this topic has been covered many times and ive read through many of threads I couldn't piece together an answer for my particular situation.
Thanks in advance!

G24 are a member of the IPC
the IPC have a little used but publicly available code of practice , on one page there is a paragraph called "grace period's "
quote:
15. Grace Periods
15.1 Drivers should be allowed a sufficient amount of time to park and read any signs so
they may make an informed decision as to whether or not to remain on the site.
15.2 Drivers should be allowed a sufficient amount of time to leave a site after a pre-paid or
permitted period of parking has expired.
one could imagine that a person could easily spend 5-8 mins parking up , walking to the ticket machine or simply reading the terms and conditions , also It could be said that the time to get out of the car park (with traffic) could easily be 5 mins
one could also add , that if this ticket was produced by ANPR , then the cameras were on the entry/exit , and took a reading on entry / exit , NOT a time parked
the thread you NEED to read is this one https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822
read and RE read , the parts you are interested are the IPC ones NOT the BPASave a Rachael

hi and welcome to the forum ....
you will have to read the newbies thread for a full answer ...
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822
" she wrote a letter back to B&M and was told that they had no sway in controlling the fine and she had to contact G24. "
wrong .... they are talking codswallop !
"She left her car in there for 131 minutes when the max was 120,"
therefore inside 'grace periods' .... newbies thread will tell you that you get 10 min or more ... at the start of and at the end of parking !
"Basically im worried that she will end up with a CCJ against her name if she ignores the letters any further"
if she wants a CJC she would have to be taken to court ... or ignore court papers ........ loose ...... ignore again ... or refuse to pay ...... then and only then can CJC's be dished out!
so re read the newbies thread and skim read the BPA sections as you have the miss fortune to be with an IPC cowboys ........
look for the appeal / template ....
do not reveal who was driving!
please read up then come back if you need more help / advice
G 24 can be beaten...
so
good luck
