ZZPS Demand

Hi,

Back in 15/15/2015 I received a parking ticket from civil Enforcement Ltd, for parking on allegedly private land. This land had always been free to park on and I was unaware on the recent changes.
I have disputed the charge and refused to pay as I was only on the car park for 6 minutes, I have today received another threatening letter from ZZPS for the sum of £200 .
Can you please advise wether to pay the demand or just ignore and stand my ground on the terms that the charges are not from the Police or Local council.

  • Have you read the NEWBIES sticky thread?
Have you done a forum search for ZZPS (you'll find hundreds of threads with the same advice)?

Do those things, then come back if you feel you need further help.
  • Having read the above threads, my only concern is that I have disputed the original demand from Civil Enforcement which was rejected (typical response).
Having read that ZZPS can not litigate agains me but will forward to solicitors Wright & Hassle (very appropriate name) can/will they start court proceedings against me for the exaggerated fee of £200, is it likely they will carry out the threat.
I appreciate that I may be repeating issues on debt collectors for parking fines however any advice is greatly appreciated.

yes go to google , and type the words "BPA code of practice"

there is a section called "grace periods" , suggest you read it and retaliate

you will inform the BPA that they are failing to meet the code of practice , wont you?

    Please Google 'soft touch'!

No wonder they are turning the thumbscrews tighter by threatening you with solicitors. All designed to screw more money from a very 'soft touch'.

See what happens next, do nothing further in terms of paying DRP. If you get anything further from WH, come back, start a new thread of your own, then give us more details about the PPC involved, the number of PCNs and where they have been incurred.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    I'm sorry I can't take this seriously.

No-one does that. No-one pays them 50p here...I can't believe anyone would PAY them that sum. It's not even funny.
