They think it's all over?

Am I dreaming, but with the old POPLA, if after receiving a successful appeal at the bottom did it say something about the PPC must cancel the PCN and inform the appellant of the cancellation.

I ask, as I have received a positive WHOPLA result (yes I know, hens teeth) but the PPC still shows the PCN as ON HOLD after more than a month.

Can I expect the begging letters in 5 years.

I was expecting a bunch of roses and an apology from the PPC, but a cancellation confirmation might do.

I think that's grounds for a BPA complaint about the PPC. Why not? Can't have too many complaints flying in!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Trouble is C-M the PPC is now IPC so probably won't give a rats bottom about the BPA or WHOPLA.

Was wondering if there is any mileage in DATA Retention. The rules on time allowed to hold data seem a bit muddy.

DATA Retention = ok till they are informed they have lost the appeal and should cancel , until then they have a valid reason to retain , as it may be needed for a later CC claim

Yes good point, you could complain to the ICO and see what they say about this storage of data that is no longer appropriate, for a PCN that should not be 'on hold' and where data was only supplied by the DVLA for one set reason, not for ongoing retention long after that reason has gone.
