What codes do you have for £10 off £50 that expire on 21st/27th this month? I thought they had all expired and I'm looking for a delivery on Wednesday. Thanks in advance.

I banked the code XXM9GW and it expires (for me anyway) on the 21st July - its for £10 off a £50 shop (all my codes have been obtained from this thread)

WVVDHRDFT46W appears to be valid till 24th July (same discount)

    Hope it helps

This has been asked so many times before (and will keep being asked) ... perhaps it ought to be made "sticky" and put at the top of the forumicon5.gif

I've copied my answer to the same query below :-

You can easily input a code prior to doing your shop. Just prepare your shop (it can be altered/changed/deleted at a later date). When you go to "checkout", you'll see a few places to insert your code. When you've done this, it's probably easier not to click on "proceed" at the bottom of the page, then return and complete your shop later. You can press "proceed" though if you wish, then you'll have the option when you return to your shop to change/delete/alter delivery date, etc.

    Hope this helps.icon7.gif

Word of warning about banking codes.

I used to bank codes but discovered a fault on Tesco’s website.

    What should happen:

    Ø Do internet shop

    Ø Bank codes

    Ø Checkout

Ø Tesco’s website automatically selects the appropriate code

    Ø Pay discounted balance

However, if you have several codes banked that are, for example all £5 off of £50 spend but with different expiry dates, this is what actually happens:

    Ø Do internet shop [£51]

    Ø Bank codes

    Ø Checkout

Ø Tesco’s website automatically selects at random ANY £5 off of £50 spend code not necessarily the code with the shortest expiry date. You cannot substitute another code manually.

    Ø Phone Tesco’s Helpline

Most Tesco helpline reps don’t know that there is a page on their website where codes can be banked. None knew that there was a problem with code selection until I talked them through the process and proved it.

    Tesco’s advice to me:

Ø Keep own list of codes

    Ø Do internet shop

Ø Check out and manually input appropriate code

    Ø Pay discounted balance

    Works every time.

  • I used the code i recieved last week, ( same one as a few others have got , or i would have posted it)

As yet, still no 1000 points on my account.
I had £0.01 on my bill so i assume its accepted?

I rang clubcard, but the woman on the phone new nothing about the code and the 1000 points.

anyone shed some light on when we see them?

    thanks.

Hi amancalledchip you wont see the points until you receive your November statement. I used one of these codes in May and am waiting to see if the points are added on my August statement, but I have kept the invoice and voucher as proof, so will be phoning CS if they are not. This is a new concept with Tesco, but you have to wait a long time for the benefit!

I had 0.01 deducted from my order for Harry Potter so I should receive 200 extra points, but this will probably not be til November as we are getting near the end of this quarter.

I think that you are supposed to say where you found your code.

I had the same code with my Healthy Living coupons and I also think its in the mag as well. The points dont get put on until November (I dont know how I am supposed to remeber in November that I have an extra 500 points for an on line shop, extra points for a wine delivery etc!)

One use only, checked when I did my order.
