Does anyone know what happens if I use a 1000 points for £75 code and they fail to deliver all my shopping because it's out of stock??

MOH just called and asked and they said we should get the 1000 points no matter what. Not sure if I trust them on this, but I think I'll have a go getting £75.00 worth of Birds Eye Beef

I ordered over £75 worth of shopping and used the 1000 points code.
There were some out of stocks (beef but got 9 chicken ) so my spend was under £75. The code showed on the delivery note as coupon -£0.01 .

My shop points of 872 have been added to the clubcard but not the extra 1000.

A previous poster said you won't get the points if it's under the value.
An other poster said the point are added at the time of the clubcard statement.
Another poster said the Customer Service person she spoke to didn't Know anything about the Points codes!!!

Question: Has anyone used the extra point code and seen it show up on your clubcard balance?

If they don't show up tomorrow I'll give Tesco a call.

I have used this code a few times and none of my points have been added as yet, although they have shown up as 0.01 coupon on each delivery.
I has assumed they were ok, just hadn't been added as yet and was waiting for my statement. This is going back as far as perhaps 4 weeks. (All my orders were over the £75 voucher value)
I'd be interested to hear what they say to you as regards your under threshold query also.

when I have used extra points codes for wine orders they say it doesn't show up for two statements so the wine code I used in July won't show up on clubcard till November - although I think it did show up in this statement (August) if the delivery note when it arrived showed the 0.01p - then that means the coupon was used - therefore you get the points - don't know when though sorry

sorry mary, haven't been online for a few days. i think the £5 are off £50, £10 off £75 and £15 off £100. not sure about the clubcard points (maybe £75?). if you just put them in at the checkout - try the highest ones first - tescos will tell you which ones you can use & bank the rest. I just copied my banked codes straight from tesco.com to this thread & once you've banked them it doesn't tell you the min. spend unfortunately.
