Please, could somebody tell me how do I go about banking codes for use in the future?

    Haven't got a clue!

    Thanks

What you need to do to add codes with an empty basket (or even a half full one) is this.

    • Log in and go into the Groceries home page.
    • You may or may not have items in your basket but if you dont just type something in the search box at the top. I normally type in vodka (cause i like the word). Add it to your basket.
    • Go into checkout - where you will find a number of dates you can book your shopping. (dont forget these dates are only provisionaly booked till you complete your checkout). Select a date.
    • Then you will be bought to the secure checkout page. If you scroll down the page you will see a box where you can put in your promotion code. Then click the box just below it saying 'use code'.
    • At this DONT CONFIRM THE ORDER (unless you genuinely want it but go back the grocery basket at the top.
    Hope this helps a little.

Does anyone know the minimum spends for the extra Clubcard points codes? The site has been ignoring mine for weeks, even tho I regularly soend over £75.
(With apologies to anyone who is fed up of answering this question. I've had a look back and I can't find the answer.)

XX-VC97 Spend over £50 for 500 extra Clubcard points 07-Aug-05

XX-9KTJ Spend over £75 for 1000 extra Clubcard points 28-Aug-05

XX-RDQL Spend over £75 for 1000 extra Clubcard points 28-Aug-05

If you have banked the codes then the site automatically uses the money off vouchers first - so try deleting the other codes from your bank first (after taking a note of the codes so you can reenterb them later) and then only bank your extra points codes

i used the £15 off a £75 grocery shop earlier this week, when I checkout it showed the discount, but when I got my goods and receipt the £15 wasnt deducted, so I called them up, rambled some e-voucher number and voila £15 credited back to my card :)
The person I spoke to said that they were having problems accepting the e-vouchers. some kind of fault

I certainly have Judi ... I'm going to miss out as well as I've got so many banked. Must get into the habit of banking just one every week as Tesco don't seem to take the highest value code first.

Are you sure that once you un-bank them, they will be able to be banked again when you need them? I can see it working in theory but am scared to try it in case they dont work again.

Yeah I have done it before if you are unsure then try and unbank one code and then rebank it - you will see it works fine

"Unbanking" codes and then banking them again will only work if they have not expired when you re-bank them or been used the maximum amount of times. I tried this once and it didn't work ... got the message "this code has been used the maximum amount of times". Needless to say, I haven't tried this since.

Ooooh - so excited!! I've actually got a code that I don't think has been posted before (well, it didn't come up on a search anyway :-)). I can actually *give* something to the forum, instead of constantly taking!!

I've just used XX-V3FK for £10 off a £75 shop. It's valid until 28th August. It's supposed to be for a first shop, but that certainly wasn't my first shop, and it went on ok. I also used the bogof magnum one that's in this thread, in the same order, and that worked too.

    HTH someone

Edited to add: Can't find XX-TNFV in this thread either, also for £10 off a £75 shop, also valid until 28th August.
