MimiJane, how is it that you always manage to bank the codes just after they are posted? Are you permanently shopping? Or is there a way of banking the codes without doing the shop first? I ask, because I always have to make a note of the codes and then input them all in one go once a week!
I hope you won't feel like you're being stalked, but I have just noticed you seem to reply to the poster very quickly!Named after my cat, picture coming shortly0 -

:rotfl: Sorry, that just tickled meI'm not MimiJane but I think she or some other regular person on these threads posted a helpful hint that I use. If you pop a few things in your basket then click on checkout and put your codes in, you dont have to wait till you shop before that you add the codes. You can just close the page once you've added your codes

please can we keep this strictly codes only, and post handy hints on the whys and wherefores of tesco code usage in the 'tesco online vouicher codes - a user guide' thread. Thanks. A tidy up will commence soon, got a house full of chickenpoxy children, so I keep getting disturbed!;)Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

What you need to do to add codes with an empty basket (or even a half full one) is this.
- Log in and go into the Groceries home page.
- You may or may not have items in your basket but if you dont just type something in the search box at the top. I normally type in vodka (cause i like the word). Add it to your basket.
- Go into checkout - where you will find a number of dates you can book your shopping. (dont forget these dates are only provisionaly booked till you complete your checkout). Select a date.
- Then you will be bought to the secure checkout page. If you scroll down the page you will see a box where you can put in your promotion code. Then click the box just below it saying 'use code'.
- At this DONT CONFIRM THE ORDER (unless you genuinely want it but go back the grocery basket at the top.

Well done JudiReally think we ought to make this "sticky" as it's asked sooo many times and it can be very time-consuming trying to find my previous posts to keep copying them for new folks to the board, though I appreciate it can be a pain trying to use the search facility at times.
