dissapearing e mail

I just tried to send an important e mail to a prospectve employer. Having put all my info in I pressed send and a message came up saying--I think--e mail not sent address may be wrong ,and somrthing about resembling a virus.check details and resend ..but the e mail message has gone!! Can anyone tell me where it went /is and what went wrong----is there a great e mail vault somewhere?? Can I get the message back or must i write again??I'm on wanadoo webmail.

if it is via webmail then you may have a "Sent" folder ??

or it may have saved it as a draft ...same again there may be a "Draft" folder

what webmail do you use ?

its wanadoo webmail.comes with the b/band package.just checked the help page and apparently they check e mail outgoing in case a virus is unknowingly put in the address---that must be it. Funny though they dont check for virus in outloo express!!! thanx
