in Credit cards
Hi
Dunno if its been pointed out b4, but here goes..
An example I have with me is TESCO cc at 0% balance transfer for 12 months, 0% on Tesco purchases for 12 months and finally 0% on all other purchases for 3 months.
Wha tI would like to point out is ONLY use the cc for balance transfers and Tesco only purchases if u want to keep the 0% on the amount owed.
If u use it for any other purchases u will get 0% for 3 months and then the rest of the money u owe from Tesco purchases or BT is then only at 0% for the 3 months.
Because they use any money u pay into ur CC to clear off any 0% balances first and they will charge u interest on ( in this case) other purchases used on the card.
So basically if u do a BT on 0% never never ever use it to purchase anything on it....

That is standard for all cards, not just Tesco's.
As you've already stated, never spend on cards where the introductory 0% period on purchases is less than the 0% on balance transfers.Dave. :wave:0
