sell car privately

Exactly.
My dad got a brand new Focus the other week. It is already back in the garage for three separate issues.
Strange, I bought a 16 year old 3.2 V6 Omega with only 162K on the clock the other week, privately, for £525 and it only has 2 issues, both of which I knew about. I might actually fix them.
I digress, My dad bought a new focus 2 months back, and I reckon my cost per mile will be somewhat less, despite the fuel economy :rotfl:0 -

With a £17k retail car you will struggle to find a private buyer even for £15k
the reason is that people that can afford a £17k car want the full main dealer experience including buying the car on the drip and thinking they have somewhere to go if things turn sour.
sorry...but it will be hard work!
