They voted to get back control of the country by restoring power to our democratically elected parliment.

To get back control of our borders, so we decide who comes into the country.

The brexiters knew exactly what they were voting for and won the referendum.

That is just untrue. Maybe you need to check what was on the ballot paper again.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

The Commission is the executive body, not the parliament.

Suggesting the unelected Lords become the executive and then strip any meaningful power from the elected Commons is a more apt comparison.

I'm selling, not buying, I've just moved almost £200k into cash from shares, the time to buy was earlier this year when the ftse was in the low 6,000's, which I did, I'm now re-balancing my portfolio.

A bit too complicated for you is it?

It was never a promise. Infact it was never even stated as such.

It's one of the handful of completely twisted lie lines that has stuck since the result.

This was Boris Johnson photographed in Bristol 14.5.16 The same thing was on the side of the Brexit Bus. I don't happen to have a photo of that to hand but I am sure it could be found if you think this isn't enough....
