Interest Free Credit Cards

Hi,

I am currently a university student and will be graduating in May 2017 and have already signed a contract to begin a job in September 2017. Currently I have no income however as of September I will have. This means if I was to apply for a credit card now I would be rejected but would be accepted in September by most companies. However if I was to apply in say May 2017 (before I begin my job), would I be able to list my income as what it will be in a couple months time in order to obtain the credit card?

I ask this as I am wondering about the possibility of using an interest free credit card for purchases over the summer months and then repaying the full amount in September.

Yes, "income" does not mean "salary". Income could be anything, credit files don't hold your income information. There is a section on every application on employment details, whether they accept your circumstances or not is anyone's guess.

No. You need a valid and current income.
