Noticed a mound of earth under hedge at back of garden when we cut hedge right back.

Today 3 times I've seen a fox bold as brass jump from my neighbours fence onto my daughters playhouse then off to the burrow.

Sending my dogs loopy, one is recovering from surgery.

How do I deter it or get rid of the fox?

My garden is clean, I'm getting rid of the fox poo but my little dog still find the odd patch and as you know that smell is horrendous.

Read about mens urine? any other ideas please.

This is an American site, but has lots of useful information. It seems that male urine is a deterrent.

I just Googled "Get rid of foxes". Easy-peasy!

Not tried it myself but I've read that using anti-fouling products such as 'cat a pult' can be quite effective. If the fox has a den in your garden, then soaking something like straw or rags in the repellent and putting them into the entrance (or entrances) may help. You need to check and replace them daily. Ideally this puts off the fox and it will look for a new home.

You can also try to make the garden less appealing by removing any obvious food sources (keep any food waste secure, and don't feed pets or birds outside) .

Your dogs can pick up mites from foxes, especially from somewhere a fox has rubbed itself.

I'm due to have a conservatory built and the base goes down in a few days the foxes route by leaping over neighbours fence will man he will crash right into it.

I'm going to get some of that cat a pult stuff and see if that works. Thanks.

I'm guessing the dogs normal flea treatment wont save them from the mites? Only the little chi dog is off lead as the other is recovering from surgery so goes out on lead.
