Does anyone know where I could get the software drivers for an Intel play QX3 microscope? Found one at work, the google search just turns up somewhat dodgy looking sites and can't find what I want on Intel's website - I assume they have long since stopped providing support. The microscope is old but would be handy if I could get it going.
Thanks in advance.

The website that you found is probably fine. This issue is likely whether your OS will support their use.
Example website: http://www.chipsetc.com/intel-play-usb-microscopes.html

That seems to be the issue, I have the software now but can't get the computer to recognize the microscope - I think it may be destine for recycling.0

If you are not using XP, you'll need to emulate it. Perhaps by running XP Mode: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=8002

It's still supported under Linux, you could try booting from a linux USB stick to test it
