spooler sub system

Please help!!!

I am unable to print anything and the message I get is print spooler system is not running. Any ideas ?

Tried shutting down and restarting your pc?

Switch off the printer too, and turn it back on before tuning your pc back on.

Is this printer connected directly to your pc?

Check all the cables to make sure they are nice and snug.

To see if the print spooler service is running - go to Start, Run, type "services.msc", there will be a list of all the services running/available on your pc - go down to Print Spooler Service and click Restart or Start if it says it is not running.

I have been through this on peoples PCs so many times...

It's usually down to bad drivers. Printers install "accessibility tools" such as low ink status monitors and the like and it is usually one of these that cocks up the Printer Spooler Service.

Last one I did was on a £20,000 vinyl graphics printer/cutter so it's not just the cheap stuff that does it.

Try uninstalling the printer, downloading up to date drivers/printer utilities and installing those instead.
